I don't know your story, but as far as my luck finding a way to help myself (finding a job) I've been struggeling. I've moved to an area that is rural (Sonora, CA). Small community, and I'm not having much luck. I took a couple of civil service exams, hoping to get a job working for the state, and unforunately, soon after our economy was basically shattered, there are hiring freezes, and people having to take pay cuts or hour cuts, so new hires aren't really happening. In fact, I think that some workers had to take IOU's. To make it worse if I don't go for an interview when they offer one, they can take me off the eligible list, and so I go even though some are far away and I have to scrape $$ to get there, hoping it will turn around, and things get better. I am so upset because if I could get a stable job like that I could actually support my family, and have good benefits, a retirement!! I don't know I was looking for a child support loan and ended up here, I don't think I could do what you are doing, but I wish I had the guts, more likely you'll come up with the $$ you need than I will.
